The Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) visited our association and conducted business exchanges

On August 21, 2023, the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) visited the Overseas Hub Branch of China Association of Warehousing and Distribution (CAWD) and participated business meeting with the International Federation of Warehousing and Logistics (IFWL), and had communication with Nany Zhou, Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of the IFWL and Secretary General of the Overseas Hub Branch of CAWD, and Mandy Ma, Project Director of IFWL.

At the meeting, Nany Zhou introduced the relevant business cases of IFWL and CAWD, including the relationship with partners in various countries, especially the former two secretariats of IFWL from the French Warehousing Association and the United Kingdom Warehousing Association, both from Europe. Dr Tam is from the SOE Hong Kong branch who shared their existing business system and member management methods, aiming to promote deeper cooperation in the fields of international trade and warehousing and logistics.

2023, the 20th anniversary of the founding of SOE coincides with the 50th anniversary of the founding of IFWL. SOE President Chris Grime presented souvenirs to Ms. Nany Zhou, and the two sides exchanged badges in a friendly manner.

At the end of the meeting, both sides reached a consensus on a series of international projects such as training and certification, especially the activities of the IFWL 50th anniversary and some international professional exhibitions of SOE.
